These terms are between the client and releaf services, LLC and govern our respective rights and obligations.
LAWN MAINTENANCE: All of our lawn maintenance plans are under a 9 month agreement, with automatic renewal until cancellation. We offer 4 maintenance programs: basic weekly (every week), basic bi-weekly (every 2 weeks), premium WEEKLY (EVERY WEEK) and BASIC BI-WEEKLY (EVERY 2 WEEKS). We will perform all the services agreed upon. Some services are performed as needed. Any extra work will be quoted and billed separately. Your scheduled visit dates will appear on the customer portal. Every scheduled visits will be performed, weather permitting, or unless notified otherwise. Schedules are set to maximize performance; due to uncontrollable conditions such as weather and traffic, we will not specify an exact time of service. We reserve the right to change the scheduled date or service crew without notice, to accomodate our team' schedules with any event, or weather and/or Holidays.
BI-WEEKLY LAWN MAINTENANCE: INCLUDED WITH BI-WEEKLY LAWN MAINTENANCE ARE MOWING, WEED TRIMMING, AND BLOWING EACH WEEK. EDGING OF ALL CONCRETE AREAS WILL BE COMPLETED ONCE A MONTH. AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE MAY APPLY IF EDGING HAS NOT BEEN MAINTAINED PRIOR TO OUR FIRST SERVICE. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR LAWN IS PICKED UP BEFORE OUR CREWS SHOW UP FOR SERVICE. RELEAF SERVICES WILL NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGED CHILDREN’S TOYS, DOG TOYS, GARDEN TOOLS, GARDEN HOSES, FAULTY OR IMPROPERLY INSTALLED IRRIGATION HEADS, OR ANY OTHER OBSTACLES THAT MOWERS MAY RUN OVER IN YOUR LAWN. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF DOG WASTE PRIOR TO MOWING EACH WEEK. THE MONTHLY BILL IS BASED ON A FULL SEASON COMMITMENT. IF YOUR LAWN REQUIRES GRASS BAGGING ON A REGULAR BASIS, AN EXTRA FEE OF 25% OF YOUR WEEKLY PRICE may be APPLied. PRICES ARE QUOTED FOR A MAXIMUM OF 28 MOWINGS; A PRORATED PRICE WILL APPLY FOR ALL EXCESS MOWING.
Weekly Lawn Maintenance: Included with weekly lawn maintenance are mowing, weed trimming, and blowing each week. Edging of all concrete areas will be completed every other week. AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE MAY APPLY IF EDGING HAS NOT BEEN MAINTAINED PRIOR TO OUR FIRST SERVICE. Please make sure your lawn is picked up before our crews show up for service. releaf services will not assume responsibility for any damaged children’s toys, dog toys, garden tools, garden hoses, faulty or improperly installed irrigation heads, or any other obstacles that mowers may run over in your lawn. Please take care of dog waste prior to mowing each week. The monthly bill is based on a full season commitment. If your lawn requires grass bagging on a regular basis, an extra fee of 25% of your weekly price may be applied. Prices are quoted for a maximum of 28 mowings; a prorated price will apply for all excess mowing.
Spring Cleanups: Spring cleanups include leaf cleanup and winter debris removal for lawn and planting areas. Pruning:Plant pruning twice per year. This helps maintain healthy, attractive plants. Pruning is performed during mid-June and early September. Mulch:To enhance the appearance of your landscape, retain moisture in planting beds, and slow weed development. We offer brown, red, and black colored mulch, cedar mulch, and shredded hardwood.
Fall Cleanups: Fall cleanups include perennial trimming and leaf cleanup during the month of November. Leaf cleanups include cleaning the leaves from landscaping areas and mulching/vacuuming the leaves from your lawn. An extra fee will be charged if curbside vacuuming is necessary.
Auto Renew and Cancellation: This agreement is considered an auto-renewal service, which means it will renew automatically each season unless the client contacts us to cancel services. A renewal letter will be sent out each spring via the client portal (usually in February) showing the upcoming season’s services and the total due or monthly payment amount. If you wish to cancel services, we ask that you notify our office (call or email preferred) to effectively cancel services, prior to services starting for the season. Either party may cancel services at any time. Due to scheduling complications, you may not be able to cancel your service on the same day as your property is scheduled for service.
Fuel Surcharge: A fuel surcharge will be enforced when fuel is more than $4/gallon. An additional $2 per visit will be charged when fuel is between $4 and $5 per gallon. An additional $4 will be charged per visit when fuel is between $5 and $6 per gallon.
Payment Terms: ALL CLIENTS OF RELEAF SERVICES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE a CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ON FILE UNLESS THERE IS ANOTHER AGREEMENT IN PLACE. for lawn maintenance, (weekly, bi-weekly; basic or premium), Invoices will be sent before yard service is performed. after yard service is performed, the card on file will be charged. THE CLIENT CAN REQUEST TO BE CHARGED MONTHLY INSTEAD OF PER SERVICE.
For special projects or any invoice over $500, the client will be charged 50% before the project is started.
if there is another agreement between releaf services and the client in place, Payment in full is due within 15 days of the invoice date. For monthly payment options (equal payments, or pay per service).
if full payment is not received within 30 days a finance charge of 3% (minimum of $25.00) per month will be applied to the overdue invoice. Returned checks will be subject to a $40.00 fee. Additionally, you may be required to pay in the form of a money order or certified bank check only.
If one's account shows a balance due over 30 days, releaf services reserves the right to cancel service immediately. releaf services shall have the right to get reasonable costs and necessary disbursement, including reasonable attorney fees in having to enforce this agreement. Said attorney fees are actual and reasonable together with all other court costs. Credit card payments are subject to a $3.00 convenience fee. If the client has a credit card on file, releaf services reserves the right to charge your card if your bill becomes outstanding (over 30 days).
CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional costs or services: Client agrees to pay the charges specified on their estimate and invoices. Estimates are our best estimation of cost, but they may be subject to any additions and/or deductions made pursuant to authorized change orders.
Obstructions: Clients are not required to be at home while service is performed, but the service area must be accessible and free of obstructions (lawn furniture, toys, trash, bio-hazardous materials, etc.) prior to the scheduled visit. All gates must be open for crew to access backyard. All pets must be secured as to pose no threat to service personnel. If we find obstructions, we will service what we have access to and you will be charged for a full service.
Cables, wires, and irrigation: releaf serviceswill not be responsible for damaging any unsecured cables, wires, irrigation pipes or heads, lines etc., which are not installed deeper than 3" below ground level. Mowers should be able to pass over irrigation heads, cables and wires without making damages.
Plants health: releaf services will not be held responsible for the health of the plants as we are not in control of the watering, weather, temperatures, fungus, insects and animals, or any other reason outside our control. Watering, feeding, and the health of the plants are at the client's responsibility.
Gates and pets: Please make sure all gates are unlocked so that releaf services has access to your backyard. releaf services will always do the best they can to close all backyard gates after work is performed. it will be the client's responsibility to check if all gates are shut properly before letting their pets return to the backyard. releaf services will not be responsible if pets escape the yard after service of property.
CANCELLATION OF VISITS: a 48 hour notice will be required for cancellation of a scheduled visit. Please call, text or email releaf services 48 hours before your normal scheduled service, and let us know you want to be skipped. Scheduled visits will be charged if 48 hour notice is not given, An extra fee will be applied if your property is overgrown once we resume services.
customer satisfaction: All customer complaints must be issued within one week of service date. while we want our clients to be satisfied with their service, we must enforce a client complaint deadline, thereby limiting free corrections. all touch up services/corrections will be at the owner's discretion, and is based on the nature of the complaint, service provided, service photos and other details gathered for final review.
NOTICE OF DAMAGE: Clients must notify releaf services within 48 hours of any damages caused by employees performing work (via client portal and phone call for minor problems; and in writing for more serious issues). Pictures or videos are required. In most cases, releaf services. will address the problem within two (2) to five (5) business days after receiving client’s request. In some cases, it may take longer, depending on circumstances beyond our. control (such as, but not limited to: weather, inappropriate time of year to correct the turf or landscape problem, or non-availability of materials).
